In The Community

Dr. Cat and the staff at AHAH are dedicated members of the community, and
believe in providing support in a variety of ways.

Hands-On Training

AHAH has partnered with several local vet tech and vet assistant programs to allow students to come to our hospital and do their hands-on training. Dr. Cat loves teaching and even speaks to students of all ages at local schools.

Rescue Work

Working with rescues is a big part of what we do at AHAH. Dr. Cat serves on the board of Southern Style Great Dane Rescue, and also works with Water's Edge Great Dane Rescue and Dames for Danes. We provide comprehensive veterinary care at a discounted price to dogs from these rescues that come to our clinic. We also catch, spay/neuter and vaccinate feral cats in our area for the betterment of our community.

Dr. Cat fosters dogs from all three organizations and provides medical care for the rescues while they look for their permanent homes. Below are a few of the dogs that have been fostered at AHAH on their way to their forever homes.
